In 1997 AltaVista and InfoSeek ruled the roost and webmasters would eagerly count up how many "hits" their website had received that month. Over in California, two Stanford University students were working feverishly on a new concept called "backrub". BackRub would later change its name to Google and the rest as they say is history.

Be Found were quick to realise that the future of the Internet was not about the technology on which it was built. It was about the people who would come to use it. This approach has proven to be a success and Be Found have enjoyed year on year growth for over a decade.
